Selepas misa semua ahli dijemput masuk ke dalam rumah CSS dan sesi 'ice breaking' diadakan. Hm... That's a good idea, iaitu sebelum ahli balik ke kolej atau rumah masing2 ada baiknya kumpulkan dulu di halaman CSS dan bagitau announcement, sebab kalau dalam bas macam tidak brapa dengar pula kan.

Recalling back CSS days with weekly masses, it is what we used to hear every Saturday evening at CSS House. As you all know, we used to have mass here in CSS House every Saturday at 6pm. The EXCOs are in-charge in the preparation and the organization of the weekly masses in the house. It was an opportunity of learning, activities such as choir practice, commentator, being the readers, psalmist, musician, warden, etc.

The question is? Will there be any chance to have mass at CSS House in the future. The good news is YES!

Because this Saturday, Fr. Raymond will conduct mass at CSS House, 10.30am.

Besides that, we will also be having another activity after mass, which is Annual General Meeting. This is where the president, secretary & treasurer will present their report. And then, the committee of 2009-2010 will be officially dissolve after the election of new TOP 6 term 2010-2011 (President, Vice President, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer and Vice Treasurer). And they are elected by you (CSS members).

Final Blessing & The Mass Explained at CSS

Shalom semua!

Pada 16 October 2009 (Jumaat), CSS UiTM Shah Alam telah merayakan Misa dalam Bahasa Malaysia yang bertempat di rumah CSS. Lebih kurang 50 orang ahli CSS UiTM Shah Alam telah menyertai misa ini. Selain itu terdapat juga beberapa orang datang daripada KUBM (Kesatuan Umat Bahasa Malaysia) dan CSS MSU-PTPL.

bersama komuniti pelajar katolik di UiTM dengan komuniti umat bahasa Malaysia di CDM dan Rev. Fr. Paulino Miranda.

Misa ini telah dijalankan dengan baik oleh Rev. Fr. Paulino Miranda yang merupakan paderi bagi “Church of Divine Mercy (CDM)”. Misa yang dirayakan kali ini merupakan Misa tiga dalam satu yang mana mengabungkan Misa penerangan, pemberkatan pelajar UiTM yang akan tamat pengajian, pemberkatan terakhir kepada pelajar UiTM yang bakal menduduki peperiksaan akhir. Misa penerangan ini merupakan misa di mana paderi Paulino merayakan Misa seperti biasa sambil menerangkan maksud untuk setiap pergerakan atau perbuatan yang biasanya dilakukan oleh setiap paderi-paderi katolik. Sepanjang Misa ini para pelajar berpeluang mengetahui lebih jelas tentang bekas-bekas yang digunakan dalam perayaan Misa seperti piala untuk air anggur dan patena untuk Hosti, sibori untuk menyimpan Sakramen Mahasuci dalam tabernakel, monstrans yang digunakan untuk Benediksi dan banyak lagi.

Pelajar-pelajar juga berpeluang mengenali kebanyakan pakaian yang digunakan dalam upacara-upacara Gereja kita berasal dari pakaian yang digunakan oleh Empayar Rom dan mengalami perubahan mengikut peredaran zaman. Anataranya ‘amice’, ‘alb’, ‘cincure’, ‘mainple’. Selepas sahaja Misa ini selesai dirayakan, aktiviti diteruskan lagi kepada pemberkatan pelajar UiTM yang akan tamat pengajian. Pemberkatan ini dilaksanakan oleh paderi Paulino yang telah disertai seramai 12 orang walaupun masih terdapat beberapa orang yang tidak dapat menghadirkan diri pada waktu itu.

Seterusnya adalah merupakan pemberkatan kepada pelajar-pelajar UiTM yang bakal menghadapi peperiksaan pada hujung semester ini dan dilanjutkan pula dengan sesi bersama Fr. Paulino untuk membincangkan permasalah-permasalah yang dihadapi oleh CSS UiTM. Terdapat beberapa cadangan yang telah dikemukakan dan penambahbaikan dalam melaksanakan aktiviti-aktitiviti di antara gereja dan juga CSS UiTM Shah Alam. Ini akan mengeratkan lagi hubungan silaturahim dan mengenali dengan lebih baik di antara komuniti pelajar katolik di UiTM dan komuniti umat Bahasa Malaysia di CDM.

• We'll be selling Mass Explained book for RM 3.00 for CSS fund.
• Those who are staying in kolej or those who have a far journey back home, you can overnight at CSS House.
• Those who had joined this Mass Explained, no need to go for Sunday Mass because the reading for this mass & the Sunday mass are the same.

Words from Fr. Chris

Hi people, thank you for the time we spent together especially to celebrate the eucharist together. LIke I said earlier, I really enjoy celebrating mass with all of you, seeing those eager to answer my question, those eager to know, those shy ones, but I was there to help you as I see my purpose there, so that you may grow in understanding yourfaith and your God. I will remember all of you and hope your new campus minister would continue to help make your faith grow and make CSSSA a lively place for students, and to know that they are capable of making their faith alive. I will still be at the Jesuit Residence, Xavier Hall, di sebelah SFX since I am still in charge of the Xavier Hall hostel. My likely assignment will be at Maranatha Retreat House diJanda Baik. This is what I have always like to do - giving retreats. Silent punya ya! I will think of all of you when I make the programme that those who are seriously interested in their faith life and grow in the Lord may come to this place and grow. Btw, there is a website for this retreat house but it is a silent place in the forest of the "Good Widow."
