Backdated on
July 23, 2012, CVS SA had been organized an event called Annual Grand Meeting
(AGM). The purpose of this AGM is to select a new helm for the CVS SA for the
term 2012/2013. It means that CVS SA is going to have a new leader for the term
2012/2013 after being led by Sylvister Jalong (previous president of CVS SA for
the term 2012/2013). This election focuses ONLY on a new President and Vice President
of CVS SA.
A little
bit info regarding on how the new president and vice president is being chosen.
The next helm of CVS SA is usually chosen among the members who had been an exco
before. This is to make sure that the new president and vice president know how
the society is being managed and organized based on the previous leadership. Then,
the election will be made and the new president and vice president are chosen
based on the most votes of the members during the AGM.
For this
term (2012/2013), our new President goes to Jesuah Jimmy and Vice President is Ristommoyo
Tain. Congratulations to both of them and hopefully their leadership will be
able to bring something new for the society especially to the members. May the
wisdom and powerful leadership of our Lord Jesus Christ will be passed through
them.
